lots going on - some good some not so!

Decorators have started! I now have a house that is completely turned unside down and in utter chaos! Most of the building work is finished but still waiting for some stuff to be finished off outside.

Inside: kitchen is now finished I think - I hope!
Lounge is still in progress.
I have managed to put all my stuff back under the stairs and so can now walk through my study but that is filling up again with stuff from little bedroom as they want to paint that tomorrow.

Stairs and landing have stripped and woodwork painted but have had probs with wallpaper - the anaglypta I chose was going to take 4 6 weeks and although I had asked at Christmas if they wanted pattern numbers no they had to wait until decorators are on site so then 'chose another one' was the answer - I spent ages trying to find I liked in the first place!

Anyway top bedroom has got to painted still and my bedroom - for some reason I have agreed to mix up the colours on monday as I did them originally - just another thing for me to think about.

I have to climb over things in bathroom and you can't move in my room - I am so looking forward to having my house back - especially as when they are here, it is very difficult to concentrate on anything serious such as essays and reading books. All I can do is plan school work - I am moaning a lot but it is at this time one wonders why? I didn't want subsidence in the 1st place and I know it will be lovely when it is finished but that is when it is finished.

And in the great scheme of things I really do not have anything really to moan about except that it is getting to me.

More photos to follow and the good news is that Dawn is coming home on Sunday only for a day before she has to go on to Norwich but it will be good to see her.

Also my darling son come home last weekend - it was a shame I was at queens and so only got to see him for an hour or so - he reckons he did try to phone as it was a last minute thing - hey ho that my chris.

speak soon
